Who are the Galactic Brethren?
The Galactic Brethren consist of Pittsburgh based rapper/producer Moemaw Naedon and Pittsburgh native rapper/producer Brother Seamus and their sidekick TJ.
Follow the two MC's through a tale of time travel and metaphysical conquest narrated by abstract, cosmic and sometimes combative lyrics with original boom bap, golden age inspired beats. Adventures include: record digging, the apocalypse, time travel, a mutant regime lead by an overlord by the name of Zidor, and many other twists with sometimes comical undertones.
This 22 track album was produced entirely by Moemaw Naedon and Brother Seamus. Moemaw Naedon is best known for his work with the Pittsburgh based hip hop group "Fortified PhonetX" who released their debut album, "The Plastic Eaters", in 2012 and have been hosting and performing regularly at a slew of hip hop gatherings. He recently won the first four man team version of the live rap competition "Rhyme Calisthenics" with his team.
Brother Seamus is best known for his work with New Orleans based hip hop squad, "The Guerilla Publishing Company" and producer, "Prospek". He is also co founder of the energetic music duo "Private Pile". His profound lyrical style combined with his ambient production is intriguing to say the least.
